ARRIVE uses advanced AI algorithms to connect clients with the most relevant talent based on expertise, location, and service offerings. By keeping your profile detailed and up-to-date, you increase your chances of being matched with the right gigs, ensuring that clients looking for your specific skills can find you easily.

If your profile isn’t fully optimized, you might miss out on valuable opportunities. Take the time to refine your profile, showcase your best work, and provide all necessary details to improve your visibility and attract more bookings. Stay ahead of the competition by making sure your profile stands out!

Offer Multiple Services:

To attract more clients, we encourage performers to list multiple services and diversify their offerings. For example, if you're a Singing Guitarist who also provides DJ services and Virtual Public Speaking, you can create separate listings for each service with its own title, description, category, tags, rates, media, client information, FAQs, upsell options, and travel costs.

Utilizing different pricing models—such as hourly rates, fixed rates, and custom offers—allows you to cater to a broader range of clients and increase your booking opportunities. Expanding your service offerings enhances visibility, credibility, and overall earning potential on the platform.

Best Practices Before Posting a Service

Since clients discover your talents through your gig listings, it’s essential to create detailed and appealing profiles. A great strategy is to offer at least three packages at different price points to appeal to a broader audience.

1. Gig Information

Live or Virtual Gig

Select whether the gig you are posting is a Live or Virtual performance.

Gig Title

Your gig title is the first thing potential clients see in search results. Make it descriptive, engaging, and unique to your service. It must be at least 110 characters long. Specify whether your gig is “Live” or “Virtual” to improve searchability.

Try: "DJ for Weddings & Corporate Events – Top 40 & Dance Hits"

Rate

Enter your performance fee in USD. The minimum price per gig is $100 to ensure fair pay for performers. To determine your pricing, consider:

Remember, your net revenue will be 80% of the gig price. Check the marketplace to price competitively. Use Gig Extras and Custom Offers to upsell and tailor your pricing as your reputation grows.

Categories

Choose the correct Performer category and subcategory from the dropdown list. This selection cannot be changed once your gig is created.

Service Description

Take your time and write a detailed description of your services, including your experience, skills, and unique qualities that make you stand out. Highlight what sets your service apart and what clients can expect when they book you. Avoid grammatical and spelling errors Be clear about:

Tags

Choose relevant tags to help clients find your gig easily. Check common keywords in your subcategory and add them to your listing.

2. Instructions to Clients

Provide clear instructions and requirements, such as stage size, sound equipment, and setup time, to ensure smooth performances.

Service Location

Indicate where you provide services, including city, state, and country, and specify your travel range. This is crucial for searches like “DJs in Toronto” or “Public Speaker in Miami.”

Example: “Available for events in [City], [State/Country].”

You can add a separate service for additional travel costs.

Display Map

Enable the map option to showcase your gig location on your profile. This feature makes it easier for clients to find and book the right performer for their events. By displaying your city location, potential clients can quickly determine if you’re available for local gigs or willing to travel. It eliminates confusion about distances, allows clients to filter performers based on their event's location, and increases the likelihood of receiving relevant booking requests. A clear, visual representation of your service area not only boosts visibility but also enhances trust and credibility, making it easier for clients to connect with you and book your services with confidence.

3. Media

High-quality videos, audio, and images are powerful tools that can significantly increase your chances of getting booked. Clients want to see and hear what they are investing in before making a decision. A clear, professional video showcasing your performance helps potential clients visualize what they can expect at their event, while clear images create a strong first impression and add credibility to your profile. Audio samples allow clients to experience your talent firsthand, especially for musicians and speakers. Strong media not only captures attention quickly but also builds trust, helping clients feel confident in choosing you.

The better your media, the more engaging and appealing your services becomes—leading to higher visibility, more inquiries, and ultimately, more bookings.

4. Extra Services

Upsell by offering additional services that complement your main gig and enhance the client’s experience. When posting a service, think about what extras you can provide to make your offer more appealing. For example, if you're a DJ, you can offer lighting effects, fog machines, or custom playlists. If you're a musician, you can provide a professional sound system, background music during breaks, or a microphone for speeches.

5. Publish Your Gig

Before publishing, you must agree to the performer gig terms and conditions. Once live, review your gig card to ensure images are properly aligned.

Editing a Service

To edit a service, navigate to your ARRIVE account page and select either the Active or Inactive tab. Locate the service you want to update and click the "Edit" button beneath the service title. Make the necessary changes, then republish the service. Your updates will go through a review by the ARRIVE team.

If your service meets the platform's requirements, it will be approved and published, and you will receive an email notification confirming that it is now active. If it does not meet the requirements, you will also receive an email explaining why it was not accepted. Be sure to review the ARRIVE Services Standard for guidance on meeting the necessary criteria.
